Our
Story

We started with one music therapist, one client, and a dream to bring more services to St. Charles County and the surrounding areas. That dream continues to grow and develop with every new client and contract. We now have 4 employed music therapists providing top-notch music therapy services to a multitude of clients.

Our Mission is to help our clients grow, develop, and emerge to their fullest potential by giving them access to the most appropriate music therapy strategies, provided by board-certified music therapists, who have built their career on compassion, integrity, and collaboration with others.

Music therapy is the clinical and evidence-based use of music interventions to accomplish individualized goals within a therapeutic relationship by a credentialed professional who has completed an approved music therapy program. Music therapy interventions can address a variety of healthcare and educational goals, and many can benefit from music therapy services (AMTA 2024).
What Is Music Therapy?
Our Therapeutic Offerings

Adaptive Instrument Lessons
Adaptive Instrument Lessons provide opportunities for learning music in a structured environment that is adapted to an individual's needs. These lessons may be focused on learning piano, guitar, or ukulele, but also involve movement, boomwhackers, drums, or other music-therapy-based activities.

Adult Music Therapy Groups
Offered at local adult day centers, as well as in our clinic space, these groups allow for music exploration, community building, and movement to get adults of all abilities involved in music-making.
We currently have openings in this month's evening class programming at our clinic. Click here to sign up!

Early Childhood Music Classes
We offer early childhood music classes at local early childhood centers as well as seasonally at our clinic! This type of programming helps young ones explore social boundaries, build motor control, and grasp basic academic concepts, such as counting.

Individual Music Therapy Sessions
Our individual music therapy sessions are designed to work towards goals that are written specifically for you or your loved one's needs. Goals may focus on motor, cognitive, social, speech, or mental health areas.

School-Based Music Therapy
When appropriate, as determined by a student's IEP team, music therapy can be implemented to help a student achieve their goals. If a student is struggling to meet their goals, music can help to motivate them to work towards achieving that goal.
All of the listed services are provided by a board-certified music therapist on our team.
