Accel Music Therapy, LLC, is a music therapy practice based in Wentzville, MO. We started with one music therapist, one client, and a dream to bring more services to St. Charles County and the surrounding areas. That dream continues to grow and develop with every new client and contract. We now have 4 employed music therapists providing top-notch music therapy services to a multitude of clients. We currently serve clients in local schools, our clinic space, and local day center programs.

Our Mission is to help our clients grow, develop, and emerge to their fullest potential by giving them access to the most appropriate music therapy strategies, provided by board-certified music therapists, who have built their career on compassion, integrity, and collaboration with others.

Clinic Director & Music Therapist

Melissa Dierenfeldt, MT-BC

As a Wentzville native, Melissa always dreamed of bringing the incredible benefits and techniques of music therapy back to the community that shaped her. In 2015, she founded Accel Music Therapy with a passion for creating meaningful, accessible, and high-quality music therapy services for individuals and families in Wentzville and the surrounding areas.

Melissa graduated in 2009 from the University of Missouri - Kansas City Conservatory of Music and Dance with her Bachelor's Degree in Music Therapy and Music Education (K-12 Choral Emphasis). As a board-certified music therapist for over 17 years, Melissa has experience working with children, teens, and adults, of all abilities, helping clients build communication, confidence, social skills, emotional expression, and connection through music. Her approach combines evidence-based music therapy techniques with creativity, compassion, and genuine relationships.

Melissa understands the importance of creating supportive, welcoming spaces where individuals and families feel encouraged and valued.Outside of her professional life, Melissa is a wife and mother of four, and loves watching her kids play sports and listen to them make beautiful music! She is truly honored to serve the community she has always called home and to help others experience the power of music therapy.

Music Therapist

Victoria Raupp, MT-BC

Victoria graduated from the University of Evansville in 2017 and has been with Accel Music Therapy since 2018. She interned in the adult ID/DD setting prior to joining Accel, and throughout her time at Accel has worked with clients from age 2 all the way though 19-20! When not working as a music therapist, Victoria stays busy with her 3 kids and an endless series of little projects in the garden or craft room!

Megan Allen, MT-BC

Meet Megan Allen from Foristell, MO. Megan graduated from Maryville University St. Louis in 2021 and completed her music therapy internship in Fall of 2022. This is currently her 4th year with Accel Music Therapy! Megan has clinical experience with adults with developmental disabilites, adults with early onset Dementia, and with students of all ages in special education. When not leading music therapy sessions, she can be found gardening, cooking and enjoying the sunshine with her family.

Emily Matson, MT-BC

Meet Emily Matson, who has been making music at Accel Music Therapy for two years! She graduated in 2021 from Drury University. Emily has worked in NICU, Special Education, Assisted Living and mental health facilities! When she's not making music with our music therapy friends, she's usually out on a run on the trails or hanging out with her 2 dogs!

Music Therapist

Sean Morlock, MT-BC

Sean joined our team in Fall of 2025! She graduated from Drury University in May 2026 with a Bachelor's of Music Therapy. Sean has clinical experience working with adults with developmental disabilities, in special education, physical rehabilitation, and mental health. When not making music, she can be found spending time with her nieces and nephew, or with her dog, Marley!
